This is a remarkable piece of rock and roll and cinema history: an original 1958 film contract signed twice by Elvis Presley for his classic movie G.I. Blues, paired with an extensive set of internal production documents. The contract, executed on October 28, 1958, this agreement was finalized while the Elvis was serving in the U.S. Army. The agreement laid the groundwork for his Hollywood return following his military discharge, resulting in the iconic 1960 Paramount release G.I. Blues. The terms outline a base salary for Elvis of $125,000, distributed across eight weekly payments of $15,625, along with a $50,000 expense allowance structured in eight weekly disbursements of $6,250. Additionally, the contract granted Elvis a 7.5% share of the film's gross box office proceeds once production costs were recouped.

Accompanying the contract is a rare assortment of studio financial spreadsheets and documentation offering a deep look into the business structure behind the film. Complete production archives of this depth seldom reach the open market. The paperwork displays standard signs of age and handling, including light toning, surface creasing, soft corner folds, and minor edge wear. Despite these minor signs of handling, the collection remains in remarkable condition overall. Full Letters of Authenticity (LOAs) from both PSA/DNA and James Spence Authentication (JSA) are included.
